This class is open to all levels of practice. Our Foundations class sets the foundation for our Vinyasa Flow and is strongly recommended if you have never practiced yoga before, but it is also a wonderful way to relearn the basics if you have been practicing for a while. Expect to move at a slower pace and to learn how to safely get in and out of poses, to learn the names of yoga poses as well as basic vinyasa.

This two hour workshop will activate the Chakras (energy centers in the body related to who you are from the inside out) through journal prompts, strategic Q&A, moving our body, breath & energy in order to MOVE ourselves beyond personal development into the self discovery of our natural influence & perfection of who we are right here, right NOW. Focusing on the Chakras, we will journey into our “stories” unraveling fact from fiction in order to own our authority and become responsible for our own significance without the need to validate ourselves through others approval or our own personal accomplishments. Finally we will ignite our inner resilience & build on the foundation of trust within ourselves that holds strong when everything else falls apart, or turns out to be fake or untrue. This workshop is an experience on to itself (and will also be the first of four workshops) combining transformational coaching & yoga to Wake-Up our Chakras! Bring your journal and yoga mat for this event.

Candelight Vinyasa 75 min.

Candelight Vinyasa is a blend of slower-moving asana (physical poses) and relaxation in a candlelit room. Class begins by guiding students gently into postures and breathing at a slower pace, using props as needed to stretch, strengthen and balance. The second half eases the body into a calming release through restorative poses using props and breath; inviting the mind to grow quiet as you move towards a state of equilibrium. The focus is on easeful movement, breath and reducing stress.
